Many newer phones now come with an
email program that makes it even easier to email on the move.
It's usually found alongside the other messaging programs like
text.
If your phone has this feature you
can email even faster as your emails will be delivered
straight to your mobile's Inbox rather than having to visit a
wap site. It's much like sending and receiving a text, and if
your phone is capable, you can even add attachments. Also,
your sign-in details are stored so there's no need to keep
re-entering them.
What do I need?
-
A POP3 email capable phone -
such as the Sony Ericsson K750i (see a full list of
compatible handsets)
-
Set up
As every phone is different,
you'll need to set your phone up yourself. Your user guide
will have all the necessary details on how to setup your
phone. You'll also need your email account details like
username or mailbox, password, incoming server and port
number. Alternatively, take your phone into an Orange shop and
speak to a Phone Trainer or click
here for instructions to set up your phone yourself. |
